S. Korean Body Pledges to Force Japan to Settle Past Crimes
Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- The Justice Preserving Solidarity for Settling the Issue of Sexual Slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army held a meeting outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul on May 13 to express the will to push forward the struggle to force Japan to settle the crimes of the Japanese imperialists, according to the south Korean Internet newspaper Tongil News.

The speakers referred to the efforts made to settle the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army and to combat the sexual assaults since the Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps was formed with many women's organizations involved 30 years ago.

They said that no attempts to find fault with the just work of the organization should be allowed.

Then in a statement the organization said it would conduct solidarity activities for the proper settlement of the issue of sexual slavery and for human rights to the victims, and stressed that distorting facts and slandering victims should be stopped.
