South Korean Organizations Demand Probe into Truth behind Kwangju Massacre
Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- South Koreans from all walks of life demanded a probe into the truth behind the Kwangju massacre and the punishment of the criminals.

The May 18 Council of Bereaved Families of Men of Merits for Democracy and other south Korean organizations expressed their will to probe the truth behind the massacre committed by the Chun Doo Hwan military fascist clique,?and surely punish it.

Organizations related with the May 18 Kwangju Popular Uprising?decided to transfer traitor Chun Doo Hwan's bust at the Kwanghwamun Plaza in Seoul to the plaza of the old south Jolla provincial office in Kwangju and to conduct ceaseless movement for the punishment of the traitor.

Members under the Progressive Federation of Students of south Korea stressed that they would stand in the van of the struggle for probing the truth behind the Kwangju massacre, noting that the May 18 Popular Resistance was, indeed, a great historic event in which a great number of Kwangju citizens offered resistance to the Chun Doo Hwan military dictatorship, risking their lives.

The campaign for the removal of Chun Doo Hwan's bust was launched under the sponsorship of the North Chungchong Provincial Society for Commemorating May 18 Popular Resistance of south Korea in North Chungchong Province.

More data vividly disclosing the truth behind the Kwangju massacre committed by traitor Chun Doo Hwan are being opened to the public by the efforts and solidarity movement of a broad spectrum of people.
