The factory is associated with the warm love of Chairman Kim Jong Il for people.

In May Juche 100 (2011), the Chairman visited the factory and went round its computer control room and other parts though he was in bad health condition. And he gave an instruction that the factory should produce many more quality soaps to provide the people with better living conditions.

After his field guidance, the factory further improved its production processes and developed quality toilet soaps and washing agent for clothes loved by people to contribute to the improvement of people's livelihood.
