Coal Transport Capacity Goes up in DPRK
|
|
Pyongyang, May 19 (KCNA) -- Big efforts are directed to increasing the capacity of coal transport at collieries in the western area of the DPRK. The key in this work is to raise the transport capacity of belt-conveyors and coal wagons. The Inpho Youth Coal Mine has pushed forward at the final stage the project for laying a new belt-conveyer, while the Tokchon Coal Mine put spurs to the pit construction and production of accessories necessary for laying belt-conveyer. On the basis of developing new belt-conveyer rollers with long serviceable life, February 8 Jikdong and Chonsong youth coal mines are now hastening the introduction of them. Meanwhile, coal-mining machine factories under various coal mining complexes produced and supplied hundreds of coal wagons to coal mines and the Hoean Youth Coal Mine changed 90 percent of rails and sleepers to raise the circulation speed of coal wagons. |
