Action for Shutdown of Pro-Japanese Conservative Media Begins in S. Korea
Pyongyang, May 31 (KCNA) -- The Pusan Kyongnam Sovereignty Solidarity, together with a students' organization, began an action demanding the shutdown of pro-Japanese conservative media on May 27, according to the south Korean Internet paper Jaju Sibo.

There took place a news conference outside the Pusan branch of Chosun Ilbo to declare the action.

At the news conference, speakers denounced Chosun Ilbo for making false reports on the activities of the Justice Preserving Solidarity for Settling the Issue of Sexual Slavery of the Imperial Japanese Army.

They charged the daily as a pro-Japanese newspaper which has served the ultra-right media and forces of Japan.

Then a press release was read out.

The participants in the news conference declared a week-long action for the shutdown of the daily, including demonstration.
