It has been revealed that the money paid by south Korea as defence cost has been dissipated in maintaining military hardware of the U.S. forces in Japan, the commentary said, adding that there is no reason for the tax collected from people to be used for the U.S. forces stationed abroad.

The commentary stressed that the "government" should not lose its wits over the U.S. demand for more share of the defence cost but set right the lopsided south Korea-U.S. alliance.
