The High-Tech Development Institute of Kim Il Sung University strives to develop and introduce ultra-modern technologies like information and communication technology and artificial intelligence, while hastening the research projects of great importance in putting the metallurgical industry on a Juche and modern basis, the development of programs of much significance in putting the national economy on a digital and IT basis and improving the economic management, and the development of new products which will be conducive to the fishing industry and agricultural production.

Many intelligent products developed by the Mirae Sci-Tech Center of Kim Chaek University of Technology have been introduced by several units of the national economy.

The center has also developed a number of high-tech products, while pushing ahead with bringing the technological service in step with production.

The high-tech product development bases of Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering developed high-tech products of scores of kinds to introduce them in dozens of units including the Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory.

The same is true of Hamhung University of Chemical Engineering and Hamhung University of Hydraulic Engineering.
