Carried in it are 63 works including talks and speeches Kim Jong Il made in the period between January and December Juche 67 (1978).

Those works comprehensively deal with the ideas and theories indicating the path of the struggle for more firmly establishing the revolutionary outlook on the leader, improving the work of the Party and effecting a new surge in the socialist construction.

They clarify the Party's consistent principle on correctly embodying the Party policies and vividly depicting reality in the literary and artistic works. They also deal with the tasks and ways for the development of novels, films, operas, dramas, dance and music and the issues of always trusting the artistes and putting them forward and taking good care of them with parental affection.
