Rodong Sinmun Warns North-South Relations May End up in Total Stalemate
Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun on Monday said in an article that the leaflet-scattering committed by human scum "defectors from the north" to slander the dignity of our supreme leadership is an intolerable insult to and mockery of the people of the DPRK, adding that this has become a fuse that leads to the catastrophic north-south relations.

The south Korean authorities can never escape from the responsibility for making the north-south ties as serious as now, says the article.

It goes on:

The scattering of anti-DPRK leaflets from the area along the Military Demarcation Line is an unjustifiable and most vicious politically-motivated provocation against the DPRK.

In particular, the first and foremost hostile act against us is the one of slandering our supreme leadership and social system. It is, in fact, a provocation graver than the firing of bullets and shells at the DPRK.

Even though the present south Korean authorities are trumpeting about the "dialogue" and the "implementation of the south-north declaration", it is little short of an act of putting on airs. No one can deny that the promises repeatedly made by them are all hypocrisy and deception.

The south Korean authorities will have to foresee the worst phase in not too distant future. The north-south relations may face a total failure.

The south Korean authorities should repent of what a catastrophic thing they committed and will have to pay a dear price for their acts of insulting the most sacred sentiment of the people of the DPRK.
