The statement said the filthy "defectors from the north" committed such reckless act in the forefront area as scattering reactionary leaflets to the north at a time when the 20th anniversary of the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration is coming nearer, which arouses a surging indignation of the whole nation.

The statement bitterly condemned on behalf of all the Koreans in China the reckless act of "defectors from the north", who dared to hurt our supreme leadership, and the south Korean authorities' connivance at it.

It is an intolerable insult and challenge to the whole nation desirous of the improved inter-Korean relations and reunification that such heinous act against the nation and reunification is being openly carried out by those dregs of humanity under the signboard of "freedom of individuals" and "freedom of expression", it noted.

What is more enraging us is that some foolish "experts" appeared at press interviews to actively patronize and shield the reckless act committed by the human scum, it said.

It said that the south Korean authorities are well aware of that any slight rash act in the forefront area of acute military confrontation may lead to an uncontrollable and unimaginable catastrophe.

It stressed that the south Korean authorities should come back to their senses before too late and enact above all else a law for checking the reckless farce of human scum and take thoroughgoing measures against the recurrence of the act unfavorable for the inter-Korean relations.
