Shutdown of Pro-Japanese Media Demanded in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- According to the south Korean online newspaper Jaju Sibo, members of a political party in south Korea called a news conference outside the house of the chief of Chosun Ilbo on June 4 in demand of the shutdown of Chosun Ilbo. They said that Chosun Ilbo has remained as a pro-Japanese media since its foundation, adding that they could no longer overlook its pro-Japanese acts. They noted that the press reform should start with the complete shutdown of Chosun Ilbo. They stressed that the pro-Japanese media will be surely liquidated by the might of the people. |
