Over 100000 Myongthae Fry Released in DPRK
Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- The Komalsan Offshore Salmon Farm released over 100000 fry of Myongthae (Alaska Pollack) into the sea off the farm this year.

The farm built a fry culture ground with necessary equipment by its own efforts.

Its employees, together with researchers from various units, solved the problems arising in artificial incubation to put the breeding of Myongthae fry on a scientific basis.

By deeply grasping the growth peculiarities of Myongthae fry and external habitat factors, the farm has raised the survival rate by providing conditions favorable for the growth such as appropriate water temperature and oxygen supply and taking proper anti-epizootic measures.

With strong enthusiasm to greet the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea with brilliant labor feats, the officials and employees of the farm are making efforts to breed more fry.
