Uprooting of Deep-Seated Evils from Press and Prosecution Reform Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) -- An article written by a member of the Progressive Federation of Students of south Korea was posted on the south Korean internet newspaper Jaju Sibo on Monday. The member had reportedly been detained on an unreasonable charge of campaigning against a notorious candidate during election.

The article criticized the prosecution and the conservative media for forcibly searching the dwellings of victims of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army and denying the history of the movement for the solution of the sexual slavery issue.

Underlining the need to uproot deep-seated evils from the press and reform the prosecution, the article stressed that now is the time for the south Koreans to campaign for uprooting the deep-seated evils from the press and reforming the prosecution.
