South Phyongan Province finished it on June 5 and North and South Hwanghae Provinces on scheduled dates.

Kangwon Province planned the end of May as the finishing date which it met.

North Hamgyong Province finished rice-transplanting over fifteen days earlier than last year and Pyongyang City and other provinces finished it in the right season.

Material and moral assistance was given by officials of the relevant units, ministries, national agencies, administration councils, provincial, city and county organs and enterprises, working people and volunteers.
