This call would have been unthinkable without the immortal feats of Chairman Kim Jong Il who built the WPK into a genuine motherly party winning the unreserved support and trust of the popular masses.

At every opportunity, the Chairman, who devoted his all life to the people, would ask the officials to always pay heed to the voice of people and become a servant faithful to the people meeting their demands and relieving their anxieties and sufferings in time.

Visiting the Samsu Power Station under construction in March Juche 95 (2006), he told that the people's interests should be always placed at the center of officials' thinking and action. And he showed deep care for the living conditions of inhabitants to be evacuated from its vicinity, saying that people's livelihood is more urgent than electricity output and better and modern houses for the inhabitants should be built before their evacuation.

When leaving the construction site, he earnestly instructed officials to hasten the construction of power station and dwelling houses for inhabitants simultaneously.

After all, modern houses for to-be-excavated thousands of families were successfully built along with the construction of power station.
