The beer is mass-produced at the Taedonggang Beer Factory, which brews seven flavors of beer with domestic raw materials suited to the demands of consumers. A computer integrated manufacturing was established at the factory with an annual production capacity of tens of thousands of tons.

Chairman Kim Jong Il visited the factory in June Juche 91 (2002), stressing the need to steadily work on researches so as to produce best Korean-style beer with unique taste.

The factory has all the necessary conditions for acquiring the advanced internal and external sci-tech data, and its employees have taken an active part in inventing new technologies. Nearly 1 500 technical innovations were applied to the production in the last 10-odd years and more than 200 employees won certificates of inventions last year alone.

Thanks to the sustained efforts of its employees, the factory's products obtained the Dec. 15 Quality Medal which is awarded to the best domestic products.

Foreigners from various countries including China, Russia, Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom expressed their admiration at Taedonggang beer.
