South Korean Authorities Urged to Take Responsibility for Destroying Inter-Korean Relations
Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) -- Civic organizations of south Korea reportedly released statements on June 17 denouncing the south Korean authorities for having plunged the inter-Korean relations into a catastrophe.

No matter how good an agreement is, there would be neither confidence-building nor fruition without its implementation, a civic organization in South Kyongsang Province noted in a statement.

The agreement between the south and the north is not for propaganda of the "government" but is the commitment it made to the era and the nation and it is its due responsibility to implement it, it held.

It urged the "government" to keenly reflect on its evasion of responsibility.

A civic organization of Changwon in a statement accused the "government" of having engrossed in hostile acts against the north, far from implementing its agreement with the north.

The organization called for putting an end to the U.S. interference in south Korea's internal affairs and determining the destiny of the nation by the dint of the candlelight action, stressing that the destiny of the nation can not be left to the current impotent and weak-willed "government".
