Thorough Investigation into Impairing Statue of Girl Sexual Slave Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- Civic organizations in Pusan of south Korea protested against the ultra-right organizations' impairing of the girl sexual slave statue, according to the south Korean Yonhap News.

The Pusan Women's Action for Solution of the Issue of Sexual Slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army?waged a rally before the girl statue outside the Japanese consulate general on June 24.

Ultra-right organizations have thrown rubbish at the statue and cried out for erecting the statues of traitors Syngman Rhee and Park Chung-Hee there, speakers of the rally charged.

They called for a thorough investigation into the case.

Earlier, the Pusan Citizens' Action?for defending the girl statue urged the police to punish those behind the case.
