Japanese Authorities' National Discrimination Protested
Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- Japanese civic organizations protested against the national discrimination of the authorities that excluded the students of Korean University under the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) from the subsidy-paying program for combating widespread COVID-19.

The organizations including the Japan-DPRK Friendship Women Network sent a letter of request under joint signature to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan on June 19.

The letter urged the authorities to pay subsidies to the students of Korean University, disclosing the injustice of their exclusion of the Korean students from the program.

On the same day, persons concerned of the organizations took part in the Friday action held before the building of the ministry in demand of application of the tuition-free program for senior high schools to the Korean schools in Japan.
