In Ibaraki, Fukushima and other places, those concerned of Korean schools and Japanese citizens submitted during their campaign a letter of request signed by 34,520 people affiliated to the organizations supporting the Korean schools and the mothers' groups of those schools to the Cabinet Office and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan on July 14.

Urging the application of the support program to Korean schools, the members of a request group at a press conference condemned the Japanese authorities for excluding the students of the Korean University even from the subsidy program related to COVID-19.
