Ryu Yon Gi and Kim Song Sop took an active part in the aircraft-hunting group movement in hearty response to the order of President Kim Il Sung. In May and June, Juche 40 (1951), they shot down over 10 enemy planes that had been engaged in bombing the areas along the front and in the rear.

Pak Jong Sik, commander of a wing of night bombers, personally bombed enemy territory more than 30 times to destroy enemy combat and technical facilities and wipe out enemy manpower. The then scout Kim Yo Hong captured over 80 enemy soldiers by displaying boldness.

They worked at the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum as lecturers under the loving care of the peerlessly great men.

Cha Ung Son, Chu Kyo Rak and Ri Thae Hwan also performed brilliant feats in many battles and An Yong Sung made a great contribution to the victory in the war by carrying out the orders of the President to the last in the enemy rear.

The remains of Kim Song Sop, Cha Ung Son, Ri Thae Hwan and An Yong Sung were buried in the cemetery and the remains of the wives of Hyon Su Yong, Pae Pyong Uk, Jo Su Hwan, Kwon Hyok Chang, Ro Sung Man, Kim Sang Hun, Jang Ryong In, Jong Man Yong, Pak Kwan Yong, Kim Ung Gi, Kim Yun Hyop, Jin Tae Song, Pak Hung Sin, Ri Su Jin and Kang Sung Hyon who had been buried in the cemetery were buried with their husbands.

The participants in the ceremony placed bunches of flowers on the graves and paid a silent tribute to them.
