Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun on Friday in an editorial calls upon officials to fulfill their duty as the masters responsible for people's livelihood. Now our Party wants all the officials to pay deep attention to the people's living, thereby bringing the advantages of the Korean-style socialism into fuller play, says the editorial, and goes on: The Workers' Party of Korea makes even important political decisions without hesitation for the sake of the people, and spares nothing for their happiness. This year alone, our Party had meetings and enlarged meetings of the Political Bureau of its Central Committee to discuss such issues related with the people's living as thoroughly safeguarding the people's safety and hastening the construction of Pyongyang General Hospital for improving the public health, and took decisive measures. The officials of the Cabinet and state organs for economic guidance should meticulously map out plans and give detailed guidance in order to meet the demands of the people by tapping all the available production potentials. They should become genuine masters, servants of the people who dedicate themselves to solve with responsibility the problems arising in the living of the people, always paying heed to the public opinion. They should do their best to ensure that all the projects planned by the Party for the improvement of people's wellbeing should be properly carried out in accordance with the Party's policies and bring about good results. All the sectors and units should conduct every work from the firm standpoint of the Party and the state. There can be nothing impossible to solve when the strong discipline of giving priority to the public interests and absolutely obeying the unified guidance of the state prevails in our country which is highly organized and where everything is organically dovetailed together. |
