Loving Care Shown for War Veterans
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- In the DPRK, preferential treatment has been offered to war veterans under the loving care of the peerlessly great men. It is well evidenced by the front-line rest home and sanatorium for them.

During the Fatherland Liberation War, President Kim Il Sung came to be told by an officer of the Korean People's Army about the outbreak of night blindness among servicepersons on the front. Worrying about their health, he saw to it that a front-line rest home was established, saying that nothing should be spared for the servicepersons.

Later, he went to the front-line rest home to learn about their living conditions and took a measure to provide them with necessities on a regular basis.

Such loving care served as a source of strength for the KPA servicepersons, who had displayed matchless braveness and popular heroism to win the war.

Regarding the war veterans as the treasure of the country, Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un made it sure that sanatoriums for them were built at scenic spots of every province in the country.

The war veterans are now enjoying a happy life under the deep care of the Workers' Party of Korea.
