Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) -- Hygienic and anti-epidemic centers across the country are making a strict analysis of water quality in rivers and streams as required by the anti-epidemic regulations in the current rainy season. The centers in border areas of North Phyongan Province are intensifying the examination of water in Amnok River, its tributary streams, lakes and heads of water. Officials of the provincial hygienic and anti-epidemic center are scrupulously organizing the administrative and technical guidance over sampling and examination in conformity with rules and thoroughly ensuring promptness and accuracy in test and analysis of samples. The hygienic and anti-epidemic centers in Sinuiju City and Uiju, Sakju and Pyokdong counties have reinforced the key spots with adequate manpower for inspection and supervision and their officials always find themselves among the watchpersons and analyzers to support their work materially and technically. Hygienic and anti-epidemic officials of Manpho City and Junggang, Jasong and Wiwon counties in Jagang Province are further intensifying the examination of drinking water, water for living, drainage and industrial waste water while making uninterrupted inspection of rivers and streams.
