Pyongyang, August 13 (KCNA) -- A lot of poems praising President Kim Il Sung as a peerlessly great man and the sun of the nation were created and broadly disseminated during the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle. Immortal revolutionary hymn "Star of Korea" which was created in the early period of the Juche revolution was the first hymn for the leader as it represented the great fortune of the Korean nation who held in high esteem the outstanding great man for the first time in the history of the nation spanning thousands of years, and their boundless reverence for him. The ardent mind lauding the President who waged the great anti-Japanese war to save the destiny of the nation was vividly represented in many works including "The Brilliant Commander General Kim Il Sung", "The Sun of the Korean people" and "Commander in Mt Paektu". Many poems including "Hero Appeared in Fresh Land" and "The Lodestar Shines" praising the President as the greatest general and peerless patriot were created. Works including "Let's Fight, Reposing Trust in the General Only" and "The General Calls Us" represent the high spirits and indomitable will of the Korean people who were confident of victory in the revolution as they held in high esteem the President and turned out as one in the great anti-Japanese war. Our fellow countrymen's ardent loyalty hoping for only the safety and good health of the President who brings about the dawn of national liberation is associated with such works as "Let's Send to the General" and "Song of Millstone". |
