The fruit farm covering more than 1,100 hectares of area is a world-leading fruit producer in terms of scale and level of production put on a scientific, modern and intensive basis.

It is associated with the devoted efforts of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who has worked heart and soul to provide the people with more delicious fruits.

In August Juche 104 (2015) the Supreme Leader went round the farm for hours, despite the blazing sunlight in midsummer, and indicated the direction and ways for increasing the fruit production by leaps.

Visiting the farm again in August next year, he gave precious teachings that would serve as guidelines for its management and operation including the issues of applying productive and delicious fruit seeds and raising the soil fertility of orchard.

Since then, the farm has striven to lay material and technical foundations for turning out more fruits with it as a main task to put the fruit production on a scientific and intensive basis.

In recent years alone, the farm established a new farming system based on electronic geological map and raised the level of scientific cultivation. And it applied an efficacious biopesticide to reduce the damage from harmful insects, thus considerably increasing the fruit yield per a tree.

It also conducted the rotation of fruit trees in hundreds of hectares of area and raised the proportion of mechanization in fruit farming while establishing an efficient irrigation system and an agrochemical production base.
