All the office rooms at the county party committee and people's committee buildings were offered as a shelter for flood victims, whereas the county officials are doing their work at tents.

Kye Yong Il, chairman of the county people's committee, said it is quite natural for the officials, servants of the people, to take care of their life.

Such steps were also taken in Kimhwa and Cholwon counties of Kangwon Province and Jangphung County of North Hwanghae Province.
