Mironov in his message extended congratulations to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un on behalf of his party and on his own behalf on the occasion of the day of Korea's liberation, a national holiday of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).

The message said the Korean people, who bravely fought for the freedom and independence of their country, are highly proud of the heroes of the country.

It noted that the massive and nationwide resistance of the broad sections of patriotic forces hastened the aggressors' defeat.

It appreciated the fact that the soldiers of the Red Army, who laid down their lives while fighting shoulder to shoulder with the Korean patriots, are remembered and revered in the DPRK.

It expressed the belief that the cooperation between the two political parties would successfully develop in line with the development of relations between Russia and the DPRK and the boosting friendship between the peoples of the two countries, and wished Kim Jong Un and all the people of the DPRK good health, success and well-being.
