Reconstruction of Flood-Hit Roads and Bridges Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- Reconstruction of the flood-hit roads and bridges is brisk in the DPRK. Kangwon Province hastens the reconstruction of the flood-hit roads and bridges in various parts of the province including Kimhwa, Changdo and Hoeyang Counties by giving precedence to designing and supply of materials. The province also speeds up the reconstruction by waging the joint operation of service personnel and people and concentrating all efforts and means on the projects. Kumchon?and Sohung?counties in North Hwanghae Province direct primary efforts to quickly repairing the roads damaged by flood. South Hwanghae, North Phyongan, South Phyongan, South Hamgyong and other provinces push ahead with the reconstruction of the flood-afflicted roads and bridges, while taking measures to cope with continuous wet weather. |
