Since then the Chairman had made ceaseless inspection of KPA units including units on the forefront and military academies.

Under his energetic guidance, the KPA could be further strengthened as the revolutionary armed forces of the Workers' Party of Korea and all its men and officers grew up to be stalwart combatants devotedly safeguarding the leader and persons strong in faith and ideology.

The Chairman's visit to the Dwarf Pine Post of the KPA on January 1, 1995 clearly showed his iron faith and will to defend and accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche, the socialist cause which was pioneered and had emerged victorious with arms.

From that time on, he had inspected more than 2,490 military units till the last moments of his great life, building up the KPA into an invincible army fully equipped with the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the ranks of stalwart combatants ready to defeat any aggressors at one blow.

His immortal exploit for the strengthening of the revolutionary armed forces is now being creditably carried forward by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, another brilliant commander of Mt Paektu.
