Among them is the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station.

Embossed on the front of the dam of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station No. 1 are letters "Yongung Chongnyon" (hero youth) and torch. Their display was thanks to the warm love shown by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un to add luster to the heroic feats of youths in the times and history.

One day in September Juche 104 (2015), the Supreme Leader told that a monument to the heroic feats of youths should be built wonderfully at the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station and letters reading "Yongung Chongnyon" be displayed on the front of the dam of the Power Station No. 1. A few days later, he stressed the need to depict a torch between the letters "Yongung" (hero) and "Chongnyon" (youth).

Under his detailed guidance, the torch and the letters "Yongung Chongnyon" telling about the heroic feats of young builders came into being at the dam built in the area of Mt Paektu.
