Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, looking around the typhoon-stricken area in South Hwanghae Province, called for waging a blitz campaign for eradicating the typhoon damage as soon as possible and thus greeting the 75th founding anniversary of the Party most significantly and splendidly with proud labor achievements, the editorial says, and goes on:

We could overcome typhoon, which would have brought about a terrible disaster, and minimize damage in every field. It is the fruition of the wise leadership of our Party and boundless loyalty, responsibility and devotion of all the people who shared the consciousness of crisis with the Party and exactly carried out instructions and assignments of the Party Central Committee.

It is our people's firm will to splendidly greet the 75th founding anniversary of the Party after eradicating the damage by Typhoon No. 8 in the earliest period and accelerate the grand march toward the 8th Congress of the Party.

All the officials, working people and service personnel should wage a blitz campaign for eradicating the typhoon damage, thus fully demonstrating the might of socialist Korea advancing indomitably with redoubled courage and in sky-high spirits in the face of challenges and difficulties.

They should carry out the recovery work as intended by the Party, bearing in mind that their destiny and future are guaranteed only when they are loyal to the Party's intention.

We should live and work with the courage that we are sure to overcome any natural phenomenon more violent than Typhoon No. 8, as long as we are led by the Party.
