Pak Pong Ju learned in detail about the damage at the Township Cooperative Farm and the Raengjong Cooperative Farm in Ongjin County, the Township Cooperative Farm in Kangryong County and the Ohyon Cooperative Farm in Yonan County.

He referred to the need for the farms to take timely measures for improving the crops growth in touch with the institutions of agricultural science, and scrupulously conduct the organizational and political work to mobilize all means and forces for recovering from damage.

He met with agricultural scientists dispatched to typhoon-affected areas and requested them to actively introduce feasible methods for maximizing grain output so as to provide a scientific and technological guarantee for an increase of grain.
