He met with officials and agricultural workers of the Sokjang, Chuhwa and Rakyon Co-op Farms to learn in detail about the damage on those co-op farms.

Saying that the Party shares bitters and sweets with the people all the time, he called for firmly defending the agricultural front, the major thrust area in defending socialism, rallied close around the Party in single mind, bearing in mind that the rosy future is guaranteed only when they believe in and follow the Party only.

He underlined the need to pay deep attention to the living of farmers who suffered from typhoon damage, to make more achievements in the campaign for eradicating the aftermath of typhoon by making the farmers give full play to their mental power and to enhance the role of the Party organizations in minimizing the damage to the crops.

He called on officials of the farms to eradicate the aftermath of typhoon as soon as possible, introduce scientific farming methods positively and increase the proportion of mechanization in farming.
