Recovery from Flood Damage Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- The city management sector of the DPRK is pushing ahead with the rehabilitation from flood damage.

Pyongyang City took timely measures for restoring defective facilities in its water system and reservoirs to supply citizens with hygienically safe water.

Kangwon Province has repaired over 900 blocks of dwelling houses for over 1,100 families in the flood-hit areas of Hoeyang and Kumgang counties and other areas.

The province has hastened the reconstruction of embankments and roads, while repairing water supply pipes to ensure stable water supply.

In different cities and counties of South Hwanghae Province, hundreds blocks of dwelling houses were repaired in a short span of time and public buildings like school and hospital rehabilitated.

The same is true of North Hwanghae Province and Kaesong City.
