Former Unconverted Long-term Prisoners Blessed by Peerlessly Great Men
Pyongyang, September 2 (KCNA) -- It has been 20 years since the indomitable pro-reunification patriotic fighters returned to the DPRK, their socialist homeland.

On September 2, Juche 89 (2000), the international society witnessed the repatriation of 63 former unconverted long-term prisoners to the DPRK amid warm welcome by its citizens, an unprecedented world-historic event.

Since then, all of those patriotic fighters have led a blessed life in the meridian of their glory and happiness under the comradely love and the sense of obligation of the peerlessly great persons. They were awarded the title of DPRK Hero and the National Reunification Prize and are revered as men of faith and will.

It is thanks to the loving care of the peerlessly great men that those fighters, who were once at death's door, could regain their sap of life despite their advanced ages.

Chairman Kim Jong Il?put forward them as the heroes of the country and made their feats of struggle be always remembered by the country and posterity, seeing to it that, when some of them passed away, their remains were buried in the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery.

Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un has made their dignity and life more illustrious.

The former unconverted long-term prisoners blessed with leaders from generation to generation are now determined to live up to such love and trust.
