Greetings to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un from Nicaraguan President and Vice-President

Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from President Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Vice-President Rosario Murillo of the Republic of Nicaragua, on September 4. They said in their message that the founding of the DPRK was proclaimed on September 9, 1948, seventy-two years ago from now and the Korean people held in high esteem the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung as head of the DPRK. Highly appreciating the achievements made by the Korean people in their sacred struggle for creating their own culture and way of life and gaining complete independence, they warmly congratulated Kim Jong Un on the 72nd founding anniversary of the DPRK. They noted that as the Korean people have the firm faith and heroic spirit, they have covered the historic path, being revered by the whole world people, and fulfilled their responsibility in the struggle for happiness of all people, respect, just peace, security, right, dignity and prosperity desired by mankind. They said that they could not forget forever the moments when they met with the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung during their visits to Pyongyang in March, 1983 and in September, 1986 when they struggled for peace and independence in Nicaragua. They said that they also remembered the exploits of the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il, successor to Comrade Kim Il Sung. They noted that they highly respected and revered Comrade Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK. They extended congratulations once again to the heroic Korean people in the intimate mind of the Nicaraguan people on the occasion of the 72nd founding anniversary of the DPRK.
