The message said:

On behalf of the people of Lebanon and on my own behalf, I wish to extend to Your Excellency my warmest congratulations on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic, and convey to the people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea my sincerest wishes for peace and prosperity.

Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Lebanon and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, our bilateral ties have grown closer and I am confident that our two countries can build on this enduring foundation to achieve a brighter future for our nations.
