People in South Hamgyong Province Vow to Turn out in Campaign for Recovery from Typhoon Damage
Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- Different units of South Hamgyong Province held meetings to vow to turn out in the campaign for recovery from typhoon damage in hearty response to the call of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Reports were made to be followed by oath-taking speeches.

Reporters and speakers recalled the revolutionary measures taken by the Supreme Leader during his repeated visits to the typhoon-hit areas in South and North Hwanghae Provinces and inspection of the situation in typhoon-hit South Hamgyong Province.

They said that horrible natural rampage destroyed many valuable things, causing great economic loss, but they have nothing to fear as they are under the care of Kim Jong Un and the Workers' Party of Korea and they would achieve a miraculous victory in the rehabilitation campaign.

At the meetings held by the Provincial Committee of the WPK and the Provincial People's Committee, the speakers stressed the need to meticulously organize and direct the campaign for eradicating the typhoon damage as soon as possible and responsibly ensure the transportation of equipment and materials for rehabilitation, true to the noble intention of the Party Central Committee.

At the meeting held by the provincial youth league committee, the speakers expressed their will to fully demonstrate the strong spirit of the reliable advancing group of the Party in the forefront for defending the people and to finish the construction of the dwelling houses they are tasked with at the highest level before any others.

The employees of the Hamhung City Cement Factory in their oath-taking meeting expressed their resolution to increase the production of cement for rehabilitation projects.

At the meetings of employees in the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex and the Songchongang Electric Appliances Factory, the speakers vowed to give priority to production of equipment needed for rehabilitation and effect innovations in the construction of dwelling houses.

Speakers at the meeting held in the Sapho Vegetable Farm of Hamhung City represented great enthusiasm of agricultural workers to strive to minimize the damage to crops and boost yield in the same spirit as being displayed in the working sites for recovery from typhoon damage.

At the meeting of the teaching staff of Hamhung University of Agriculture, the speakers called for finishing the construction of dwelling houses in the flood-hit area before any others by dedicating themselves to it.
