Among those present there were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, Nam Sung U, its vice-chairman, Pae Jin Gu, its vice-chairman and concurrently director general of its General Affairs Department, Pak Ku Ho, its vice-chairman and director of its Organization Department,?and others.

Discussed at the meeting were the first agenda item "On weathering severe difficulties unprecedented in the history of Chongryon and bringing earlier a new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan through an offensive for making a breakthrough head-on", the second agenda item "On organizational matter" and the third agenda item "On partial amendments and supplements to the rules of Chongryon".

Ho Jong Man made a report on the first agenda item.

He said that the enlarged meeting was held in the historic period when Chongryon is putting spurs to its five-month intensive campaign for greeting the "Chongryon Chapter Representative Conference-2020", keeping pace with the people in the homeland?all out to greet the 75th founding anniversary of the glorious Workers' Party of Korea and its Eighth Congress with high political enthusiasm and brilliant labor feats under the outstanding guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

He noted that the present meeting aimed to discuss and decide on the policy of Chongryon for hastening a new heyday in the movement of Koreans in Japan at any cost in the face of the grave difficulties caused by widespread COVID-19.

He called for ushering in a new heyday in the movement of Koreans in Japan at any cost with strong faith and by dint of the single-minded unity under any serious situation in the future.

Then, speakers took the floor.

Pak Ku Ho was elected first vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and Song Kun Hak its vice-chairman.

The rules of Chongryon were partially modified and supplemented.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
