In recent years, thousands of hectares of Evodia daniellii were improved in cities and counties across the country including Pukchang and Unjon counties in South and North Phyongan provinces.

The fruit harvest per hectare of improved Evodia daniellii is over four times that of other oil tree.

Forests of Evodia daniellii have been created in mountains of all cities and counties of the country except the northern highlands.
