True to the Party's intention, we should strictly guard against self-complacency, carelessness, irresponsibility and slackness and conduct a more offensive emergency anti-epidemic campaign to reliably defend the well-being of the people and security of the state, the editorial says, and goes on:

The worldwide spread of COVID-19 is now seriously threatening the existence of mankind and development of the society.

To strongly combat COVID-19 to the last is more important than its start. The emergency anti-epidemic campaign is the struggle for defending the country and the people, and slight compromise can never be allowed in this struggle.

To conduct the offensive emergency anti-epidemic work at present is an urgent matter for greeting the 75th birthday of the WPK as a genuine holiday of the people and concluding this year's work victoriously.

From the beginning of this year, our Party has organized and wisely guided gigantic operations for defending and ensuring the well-being and happiness of the people. If a hole is made in the anti-epidemic barrier, even though we gained proud successes in the face of manifold challenges and difficulties, all those achievements will become useless in a moment.

All the officials, Party members and other working people should take part in the emergency anti-epidemic campaign voluntarily and actively, well aware of the importance and significance of this work that should be steadily intensified until the danger of inroads of COVID-19 is totally removed.
