Unha Scientists Street in DPRK
Pyongyang, October 2 (KCNA) -- Unha Scientists Street on the outskirts of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, is a product of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy of attaching importance to science.

In the street there are 21 apartment buildings for more than 1 000 households and school, hospital, nursery, kindergarten, welfare service facilities ant other public buildings and parks for various purposes.

This wonderful street, personally named by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, was built under his detailed guidance.

True to the intention of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who had worked heart and soul to provide the scientists with better living conditions, the Supreme Leader initiated the construction of houses for scientists and dispatched powerful building forces for it, preferentially settling the problems arising in construction.

Visiting the street under construction several times, he underscored the need to pay primary attention to ensuring the quality and took measures concerning the construction like doubling the furnishings to be arranged in every house than scheduled as well as the supply of tiles, floor fixtures and other building materials. He even indicated the tasks and ways for paving road and sidewalk and planting trees and greening surroundings.

In September Juche 102 (2013), the Supreme Leader went round the completed street and expressed satisfaction over it.
