"Hall of Great Leaders and Their Comrades-in-Arms" Opens in Korean Revolution Museum
Pyongyang, October 3 (KCNA) -- "Hall of the Great Leaders and Their Comrades-in-Arms" newly opened in the Korean Revolution Museum with due ceremony on Friday ahead of the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Each room of the Hall exhibits memorial photos and fine art pieces showing the noble great personalities of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who brought up the revolutionary soldiers to be comrades who would share fate with the leaders with ardent love and trust, and more data on their revolutionary activities and revolutionary relics.

Also displayed there are data showing the worthwhile life of the revolutionary soldiers who shared their fate with the Party rainy or snowy, learning what the revolution is and why one has to live not for today but for tomorrow under the warm care of the great leaders.

Present at the opening ceremony was Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, first vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission (SAC) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly.

Also present there were Ri Il Hwan, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Yong Hwan, chairman of the Pyongyang City Party Committee, Ro Kwang Sop, director of the Party History Institute of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials of the Party Central Committee, officials of ministries, national institutions, city- and district-level institutions, units which participated in the construction, distinguished persons, and officials and staff members of the Korean Revolution Museum.

Also seen there were Army General Kim Su Gil, director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army, and other officials of armed forces organs.

Before the opening ceremony, all the participants offered respects toward the color sculptures of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in the general review room.

Choe Ryong Hae made an opening speech.

He said that the "Hall of the Great Leaders and Their Comrades-in-Arms" in the Korean Revolution Museum is the great national treasure of Juche Korea which is an epitome of the history of noble comradeship of the peerlessly great men, and a grand seat of education in loyalty that teaches the iron truth of the revolution that glory and eternal life are in upholding the leaders and following them to the last.

He stressed the need to further uphold the banner of the great unity and the revolutionary comradeship and win fresh victories in building a powerful socialist country and in accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche under the outstanding and seasoned leadership of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The participants looked round rooms after being briefed on the Hall.
