In the position paper, the PRC advocated rejecting unilateralism, hegemonism and power politics rising in the United Nations and other international fora in recent years, championing multilateralism and defending the UN-centered international order.

The PRC also stressed that the major international issues such as COVID-19 situation, sustainable development, intellectual rights, disarmament and human rights should be addressed in an impartial manner by taking into consideration the positions of developing countries.
