Stamp Exhibition Opens to Mark Founding Anniversary of WPK

| Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- A Korean stamp exhibition opened with due ceremony at the Korean Stamp Exhibition House on Tuesday in celebration of the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK). On display there are more than a thousand stamps showing the glorious 75-year-long history of the WPK, and many stamps presented by stamp collectors in Pyongyang. Attending the ceremony were Ri Il Hwan, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, and philatelists in the city. A speech was made. The exhibition will last till Oct. 16. |
