Rodong Sinmun says that our Party has dynamically advanced the revolutionary cause of Juche and the cause of building a powerful socialist nation while firmly preserving its true nature and lifeline as a revolutionary party for a long time.

This would have been unthinkable apart from Kim Jong Il's immortal party-building exploits, says the paper, and goes on:

The history of his guidance over party-building is shining as immortal annals in which our Party underwent a fundamental change in its appearance and its militant might has been put on the highest level, thanks to his rare ideological and theoretical wisdom and energetic leadership.

He comprehensively clarified the issues of building party organizations, its ideology and art of leadership, from the fundamental party-building principle to the party work system and method. He turned the WPK into the organizer and guide of our people for all victories with his superb politics and extraordinary revolutionary drive.

He set the modeling of the entire party on Kimilsungism as the final goal of party-building, made sure that the party work and activities were organized and conducted, true to the leader's ideology and will. He also established the well-regulated work system and order for firmly ensuring the leader's guidance within the Party.

An epic of his ardent love for the people can be seen in every page of the history of his guidance over party-building. He regarded it as his motto to believe in the people as in Heaven during his guidance on our Party.

Minju Joson says that as he was held in high esteem as the top leader of the Party, the red flag of the Juche-type Party could flutter as the ever-victorious banner and the Korean-style socialism achieve victory after victory in the face of the tempests of history.
