The Lao president in the message extended warm congratulations and best wishes on behalf of the LPRP Central Committee, all the party members and the people of the LPDR and on his own behalf to Kim Jong Un, the WPK Central Committee, all the Party members and the fraternal people of the DPRK on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the WPK (Oct. 10 1945 - Oct. 10 2020).

In the message, he said that he was very pleased to see the fraternal Korean people achieving great successes in all fields including political stability, national defense, social security, economy and the people's livelihood by smashing all challenges of the hostile forces and waging a struggle for steadfastly defending the gains of the revolution, and steadily raising the status and role of the DPRK in the regional and international arenas by expanding and developing its external relations under the 75 year-long wise and resolute leadership of the Korean people's great leaders President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, and the WPK headed by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, the great successor to the revolutionary cause.

The president expressed firm conviction that the WPK would continue to triumphantly lead the Korean people's struggle for defending the country, achieving its prosperity, realizing the cause of building a powerful socialist country and accomplishing the peaceful reunification of the country by implementing the decision of the 7th Congress of the WPK under the banner of the Juche idea and Songun.

Availing himself of that significant opportunity, he wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and bigger success in his noble work.

The Lao president expressed his desire for the continuous development of the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and the two countries in conformity with the interests of the two peoples and the idea of world peace, friendship and cooperation.
