The Korean people do not care about any natural disaster since the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) has done everything for them, regarding it as its duty and as the most important affair to take full responsibility for the people's destiny and look after their life.

To them, the WPK's was the care of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and is the care of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The WPK's care for the people is growing deeper in the great era of Kim Jong Un.

When various areas of the country were hit by flood in recent years, the WPK provided better new houses to the flood victims.

This year the country came to undergo trials due to such consecutive disasters as flooding and typhoon as well as pandemic COVID-19. Anyhow, the WPK's love for the people remains unchanged and has grown warmer.

Agendas discussed at the Politburo and Executive Policy Council meetings of the WPK Central Committee this year were all on the measures for safeguarding the people from the worldwide pandemic and natural disasters and stabilizing their livelihood.

Visiting flood-hit Taechong-ri in Unpha County of North Hwanghae Province and typhoon-affected areas in South Hwanghae and South Hamgyong provinces, the Supreme Leader took steps to dispatch the divisions of Party members in the capital city and other strong building forces to the disaster areas across the country to provide the victims with better living conditions.

That's why the people of the DPRK are calling the WPK their mother fully responsible for their destiny and future.
