People of Kaesong City, North and South Hwanghae Provinces Move to New Houses
Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- The people of the natural disaster-stricken areas of Kaesong City and North and South Hwanghae provinces moved to new houses.

The residents in the damaged area of Kaesong City moved to new houses built as cultured socialist farm villages.

After receiving with great pleasure the report on granting new houses to the residents in the natural disaster-hit area of Kaesong City on the eve of the founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un asked officials to convey his hand-written regards to the residents moving to new houses, wishing them happiness.

A ceremony for moving to newly-built houses was held on October 9.

Attending it were Jang Yong Rok, chairman of the Kaesong City Committee of the WPK, and other officials in the city, the residents in the damaged area and builders.

A congratulatory speech was made at the ceremony.

A speaker said that Kim Jong Un, who is considerate of the people in the city near the demarcation line before others all the time, acquainted himself with the situation in the city several times and took all measures for pushing ahead with the construction of dwelling houses to be proud of in the world.

The speaker noted that no one in the world is as happy as the Korean people as they have the Supreme Leader, who, so pleased with the completion of dwelling houses, sends his wishes for the happiness of those moving to new houses ahead of others, as their father.

House licenses were conferred on the residents in the damaged area at the ceremony.

Meanwhile, the people in the damaged areas of Unpha, Singye, Phyongsan, Jangphung, Jaeryong and other damaged counties of North and South Hwanghae provinces moved to newly-built houses on the same day.
